What causes pigmentation?

Pigmentation disorders, affecting both men and women, are caused by a myriad of factors, including sun damage, hormonal imbalance and skin trauma. Of all these, sun damage is both the most common and the most easily prevented!

Hormonal imbalance, a cause of pigmentation mostly affecting women, can occur any time that the body's natural hormone balance is disturbed. These triggers mostly comprise of hormonal changes, especially those experienced during the menstrual cycle, menopause, prolonged stress, pregnancy or even when taking birth-control pills.

How do I treat pigmentation?

Botanical skin brighteners are a much safer approach for brightening the skin than the common chemical lighteners containing Hydroquinone.

Brightening facial:
A highly active treatment including a professional exfoliation to smooth away the unevenly pigmented skin cells, followed by the application of a powerful botanical serum.

Brightening enzymatic facial:
Plant enzymes are used to exfoliate the skin and lighten pigmented areas.

MDA:
This deep crystal exfoliant resurfaces the skin and evens out pigmentation.

Glycopeel:
Improves the skin's working condition. 20% glycopeel helps to diminish the pigmentary load and restores skin's radiance.
